Las Vegas Hotels
Where does most of your money go when you are planning a Las Vegas Strip trip? Keep in mind, I asked where the money goes in planning, not when you get there. The answer is, Las Vegas hotels and Las Vegas airfare. Now, getting to Las Vegas is going to be about 60% of your budget and the other 40% will be broken up between restaurants and hotel stays. So, if you can find discounts, then try for the airfare first.
There are 3 great ways to save on airfare, the first is to keep your eyes open on daily price fluctuations with a discount trip website, the second is use your airfare rewards or discounts from your credit card companies and the third way is to call the hotel that you are going to stay at and see if they know of any package deals that are going on. If the hotel doesn’t know then call some of the casinos and ask for customer relations. There are definitely some hidden deals in the industry and for those that know what to ask and who to ask then they save the most.
Plan for at least a week. You could probably find some decent deals on a Las Vegas trip for only a few days, but the real savings you are looking for are for trips that will last at last two to two and a half weeks. Anything less and you probably won’t have time to experience everything that you want to.
